Instructor: Jason Domantay

As part of that early crop of Millennials who found themselves working in Television in the 2000’s, Direk Jason embraced the larger “traditional” media industry’s disruption that was all but completed within that decade in the hands of the new digital and social media.


From stints as both executive producer, director and talent at ABS-CBN, he moved to Yahoo! Southeast Asia as Video Content Head of arguably the most influential web-based media company of the time.


In 2016 he established Ateneo’s Digital Marketing and Social media management program with the Business resource center one of the spearheaders for importance of social media and digital marketing in the business landscape.


That same year he was awarded seedfunding by Ideaspace, a Venture capitalist firm under the MVP group.


He has since founded and led Domantay Consulting, a Public Relations firm specializing in Online Reputation and Crisis Management in the age of social media digital marketing and multimedia content. Through his efforts for his clients he was awarded an Anvil award in 2024, and even served as a sitting judge for the 61st Anvil awards in 2026.
