A design-thinking workshop to come up with possible research ideas which will be translated into proposals that can lead to fully-funded research projects will be hosted by the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office. This event is under the is the PCHRD-sponsored project, "Driving Health Innovation Forward" and it aims to develop innovative solutions to key issues in the health sector. Some key issues to be tackled in the workshop are chronic diseases that prior to COVID-19 which are still prevalent during the onset of the pandemic, and, the technology and equipment gap in healthcare facilities.
Through this workshop, researchers and stakeholders will interact and communicate with one another through guided design-thinking activities to come up with possible research ideas that are grounded in a problem-solution fit. After the workshop, follow-up monitoring and assistance will be provided to the participants to help them translate their research ideas into proposals to be submitted for possible funding.
The workshop consists of three 2-hour sessions from 10:00AM to 12:00NN and will be on October 5, 6, and 9.
