On March 19th, the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office (AIPO) headquarters was filled with excitement as the Tech X International program held its much-anticipated orientation day. Over 20 participants eagerly gathered, attracted by the promise of global exploration and innovation. Led by Mr George “GQ” Quitoriano, resident entrepreneur at AIPO, Tech X aims to revolutionize the way Ateneans engage with the dynamic world of technopreneurship.
The Ateneo Tech X program offers three international project sites: Singapore, Japan, and Silicon Valley in the USA, providing a backdrop for discovery and learning. At its core is Tech Xplore, an interactive tour program immersing participants in successful startup ecosystems.
During this multi-day international tour, Ateneans will have the unique opportunity to engage with industry titans, startup founders, business incubators, venture capitalists, and esteemed educational institutions.

Another program, Tech Xperience, gives Atenean students a firsthand look into startup operations worldwide. Over four weeks, participants delve into day-to-day startup activities, gaining insights into management and strategies.
During the orientation, attendees were treated to inspiring testimonials from individuals who had embarked on this groundbreaking journey in Japan and Silicon Valley during its pilot run in 2023. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our valued partners: Leave a Nest, Startup Village, Dynamico, Reactor School, and Skilio. Together, they have played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life.
