AIPO Members Recognized in 43rd University Service Awards

The Ateneo Intellectual Property Office congratulates two of its members: Dr. Proceso "Jon" L. Fernandez, Jr. & Steve Maverick Chaves, who were awarded during the virtual 43rd University Service Awards last May 31, 2021 by the Ateneo de Manila University in recognition for their years of service.
Dr. Fernandez is the incumbent and pioneer Director of the AIPO who led the office's establishment (merging of the TMO & ITSO) last 2019. He used to be the director of the Technology Management Office (TMO) and also worked closely with the Innovation & Technology Support Office (ITSO).
Mr. Chaves is the incumbent and pioneer Head of Ideation Support Group under the AIPO, in charge of leading the promotion of generation of IP in the university through research partnerships, ideation workshops, and proposal writing support. Prior to his AIPO appointment in 2019, he served as a Research Staff under the Dean's Office of the Ateneo School of Science and Engineering.
