Updated: Jul 17, 2023

The Ateneo Intellectual Property Office (AIPO) embarked on a study mission in Malaysia from June 5 to June 11, 2023, accompanied by members of the Ateneo Technology Business Incubation (TBI) team, including Ms Vanessa Malapit, Ms Wilma Alamar, and Ms May Ann Udtojan.

The primary objective of this mission was to facilitate AIPO's expansion and foster valuable collaborations.

The study mission provided AIPO a platform to engage with various Malaysian organizations. Prominent among these were Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI), Entrepreneurs Empowering Entrepreneurs Hubs (E3Hubs), the University of Malaya, and Sunway iLabs Foundry.

Discussions with MRANTI revolved around preparing a partnership agreement between MRANTI and AIPO to foster research and development assistance, market research, and virtual meet-ups between Malaysia and the Philippines.
