AI’s growing role in content creation presents new challenges, particularly in determining ownership and protecting original works. Industry experts provided a broad perspective on how AI is changing the creative process, and the session highlighted the urgent need for updated legal frameworks that can balance technological progress with the protection of creators’ intellectual property rights.

The summit also explored the global and local music scenes through sessions such as "Sync Up: Tackling the Music Industry’s Global Trends and Challenges" and "Pinoy Sound: Trends and Challenges in the Filipino Music Scene." These discussions examined the rise of digital platforms and streaming services, which are transforming how music is consumed and distributed. Speakers highlighted the vital role of collective management organizations (CMOs), the importance of proper copyright enforcement, and the need for artists to protect their music through copyright registration to retain control over their works.
AIPO also visited the summit’s exhibit, joined by local artists, creators, and authors, including its partner, Kwentoon, a Filipino startup dedicated to creating comics and manga that promote positive values for children. Their engaging stories emphasize important themes such as family and community, showcasing the vital role copyright plays in protecting creative efforts while supporting larger societal causes.

The summit clarified that copyright remains critical for protecting creators’ rights in an increasingly digital world. As AI, digital platforms, and new technologies reshape how content is produced and shared, creators must secure their work through copyright registration. Doing so ensures their creations are legally protected, enabling them to benefit from their innovation while preventing infringement.
This summit highlighted the vital role of copyright in the future of innovation, and AIPO remains committed to supporting creators in safeguarding their intellectual property.
